Mindfulness Meditation Can Help Increase Pain Tolerance And Reduce Pain Anxiety    




Chronic pain is usually treated with painkillers. Among these medications are opioids, which can lead to addiction, worsening the patient’s overall condition. One alternative is meditation. A study suggests that just ten minutes of mindfulness meditation can help improve tolerance to pain, decrease the anxiety towards pain and increase the pain threshold.
